\nThe manager at the Super 8 in The Dalles never got around to calling me even after repeated calls back to the hotel. I wasn’t about to drop the fact that the room had ants galore and that the manager didn’t call me back. I sent a complaint via the Contact Us section at Super8.com. They got a hold of me via e-mail and said they referred it to the GM. They said someone would contact me by 7\/20 and sure enough, they didn’t. So they refunded the room! Hip hip hooray! Being a persistent cuss pays off. <\/p>\n

\nGrocery Advantage went out of business due to personal reasons. They were a service like GroceryGame.com that broke down deals at local stores for a fee. <\/p>\n

I expect to see some of the blogs and sites that do deals for free to go by the wayside as the economy gets better or\/and as the burden of time and cost to keep a site going gets overbearing. I’d call it coupon burnout. Not the burnouts that I knew when I went to high school, the kids that smoked, did drugs and drank and looked the part, but usually were pretty hip cats. I’m talking burnout from trying to do too much with too little time. <\/p>\n

Many sites don’t get paid anything and the affiliates that do pay them for ordering on links on their sites don’t bring in enough money for the trouble. But most have a passion to help people and love dealing with bargains. <\/p>\n
