\nBLACK FRIDAY SAVINGS <\/strong>
\nI raked in some deals on Black Friday. The best deals were at Macys for free after rebate items. They had about a dozen of them. I was able to snag them before they ran out. I got around $300 worth of items for free!<\/p>\n

Another great deal was for Cavs tickets. I got tics for $18 – no fees either! The seats I got were a row above seats that were the next cost level up, so that was a bonus. <\/p>\n

I used my 50% off coupon at True Value for an item that never goes on sale.<\/p>\n

I got tons of freebie items at Rite Aid and CVS. Walgreens blew it again this year and didn’t offer any freebie deals like they have in the past.<\/p>\n

While I was checking out Lowes I found some tulip bulbs at 75% off, so I bought a bumch to replenish my yard that was ravaged by some scoundrel varmits that dug up much of what I planted last year. This time I put a dash of Cayenne pepper on top of the bulbs to keep them from making a happy meal out of the bulbs.<\/p>\n

At JC Penney I used a handful of $10 off $10 purchase or more coupons. They were handing them out at the store. If you got lucky enough to get one, one of the coupons they were handing out was for $500 off $500 or more! <\/p>\n

With most all of the above deals I got gift cards at Giant Eagle to get .20 off in Fuelperks for every $50 spent. I also earn another 4 cents using my Giant Eagle credit card, so that came out to $7.20 cents in savings for every $50 spent. I also got some gift cards at Rite Aid and CVS to earn Plenti Points and Extrabucks, respectively.<\/p>\n

\nHERE COMES THE SUN <\/strong>
\nIt’s that time of the year when the sun isn’t up when I get up and it’s gone when I leave work. You think that’s bad…in Norway the sun comes up around 10:00 am and goes down around 3:00 pm during the winter! We hung out with an exchange student from Norway recently and she let us know about the limited sun they have there during the winter months. I’d think with that little sun I’d have mushrooms growing on me and my skin would look like a ghost’s behind.<\/p>\n

In their summer it’s different. The sun goes down around 11:00 pm and comes up around 3:00 am! You can get working on your tan at 4:00 am in the morning!<\/p>\n

I would think with that much sun the animals would have a hard time sleeping outdoors. They’ve got to be cranky and delirious for not getting enough sleep. It might explain why squirrels get run over when there is obvious traffic on the road. Either that or those daredevils play truth or dare a lot and because they don’t want to spill any secrets they get dared to run across the road when there is traffic. <\/p>\n
