\nI mentioned the other week that Big Fun in Coventry was closing. Well, they are combining with Sweeties candy to form a new store called Sweeties Big Fun. \nYOU MIGHT BE RICH! <\/strong>
\nSomeone at one of my classes became rich not only with knowledge, but also cash! They found out they were rich, not because they found out their name was really Rich, but they discovered they were unexpectedly owed money. As much fun as it would be to throw in another one I’ll stop here at using another rich pun. <\/p>\n

One of the sites I bring up at my classes is Unclaimed.org (https:\/\/www.unclaimed.org\/<\/a>). It’s where you can find unclaimed funds that are held by the state. It can be anything from stocks that were owned by someone since passed to money you’re owed when the pop machine ate your money and you filed a refund, but never got. <\/p>\n

One of the folks in the class volunteered their name and they found out they were owed money from two entities that owed her less than $100 in cash each. That wasn’t who found out they were owed a ton though.
\n

\nAfter the class an attendee checked to see if they were owed money. They found out they were owed $15,000! That’s a lot of coin.<\/p>\n

Usually about a third of the people that have me check to see if their name is on it find out they are owed money. Sometimes they see relatives listed with the same last name that are owed money. In Ohio it shows whether you are owed over $100 or under $100. If you have lived in other states you can check them too on the site.<\/p>\n
