TARGET<\/strong>
\nApparently there was a glitch in their system that didn’t take off the correct amount for multiple-item coupons. For instance, if the item cost 75 cents and the coupon was for 2\/$1, it only took off $1. <\/p>\n

I saw the same issue happen with K-Mart the other year when multiple-item coupons didn’t double correctly. It only doubled up to the cost of one item. I brought it to their management’s attention and it was fixed after some time. K-Mart’s system of having the cashier match the coupon to the item on the register also posed issues if the cashier didn’t press the correct item. Store’s like Giant Eagle that does it automatically avoids that issue. <\/p>\n

You’d think they would test these things out before going live. Then again, it means extra profits if people don’t notice it. I like to check my reciepts to make sure stores don’t take advantage of customers. Way too many times I’ve found items that didn’t ring up correctly or print our a coupon even when buying the correct items. Annoying because it wastes time too. <\/p>\n

I decided to dress up for Halloween and go door to door to get candy again this year. I was rarin to go at 6:00 when trick-or-treating started. I warmed up by doing some squat thrusts and knee bends. This year I dressed up as Lady Gaga. I just threw some old curtains on and a chandelier. I think that is Lady Gaga-ish. <\/p>\n

I seem to get a good amount of candy. It’s like being a cowbird in a wren’s nest. And I sprint from house to house to maximize my take.<\/p>\n

Those fun-size bars are about the size of my fingernails now. I have fillings bigger than some of them. I do enjoy getting chewy hard candy, you know, the candy that sits in candy dishes for years on end. I always try to blow a bubble with it, but I haven’t been able to swing it yet. <\/p>\n
