\nSPIRIT AIRLINES TO CLEVELAND<\/strong>
\nSpirit Airlines entered the Cleveland market by announcing they will offer service to eight cities from Cleveland. Service starts on January 15, 2015 to three cities, with three more starting February 5, 2015, and two more on April 16, 2015. They announced flights from $14.99 on a one day sale last week! <\/p>\n

After United left Cleveland as their hub they eliminated 40 flights. A total of 25 flights have been added now with the new flights from Spirit since United left.<\/p>\n

The one catch with the super low fares is that you have to pay for pretty much everything outside of the flight itself. If you cough while you are on the plane it costs 10 cents. Anytime you touch elbows to the person sitting next to you there is a 25 cent fee. Taking more than 15 seconds to get your carry-on luggage in the overheard bins costs $5. Ok, well I was stretching the truth on those three charges, but the do charge for carry-ons, meals, and pretty much everything else. I wouldn’t mind the 15 second fee, because there is nothing more annoying watching someone take their good old time with their luggage when everyone is in a rush. <\/p>\n

Spirit’s new flights will be available for purchase beginning Thursday, September 25, 2014.
