Do you need to get your spouse or girl/boyfriend some lovely tokens, trinkets, or baubles to show how keen you are of them? I plan to get my wife some baseball cards (the ones with the gum in it will be a bonus), some dice, and a can of chick peas (I won’t tell her I got it for free). That will make her feel special. It’s the one day of the year to let that someone you care for how much you love them. And I do it in grand style as you can see. Make your special someone feel like they are more than just someone that snores next to you when it is dark out. Get them some of these goodies shown below.

For those just getting a relationship you may want to check a couple sites first. One is http://www.criminalsearches.com. The site will show a person’s criminal record. Another is http://www.dontdatehimgirl.com. Gals post stuff about guys that are losers. Plus it has some good self-help stuff. Just like finding out a package is infested with bugs and junk, you would put it back on the shelf. Same goes with guys or gals that are infested with bugs and junk. It’s best to put them back on the shelf and run.

If you are still looking for that special someone, a dating service might help. I had a friend that got married from someone they met through the site. Plus they give you 6 months free if you don’t find that special someone after 6 months. Get three days free at: Match.com. And you might find some hot dates in the clearance section.

Now the above pictures are from a site called http://www.theuglybugball.com. Yes, a dating site for ugly people. There are some doozies there. Hey, a face with a lot of character might do it for someone. And nothing a one good unibrow shaving won’t fix.

FTD
Get your lady some flowers for Valentines Day. The site ties restaurants that belong to idine with purchases to your credit card. You can get 5%, 10%, or 20% back on you full purchase including tax, tip, meal, and alcohol. So in essence, both of our meals were free!

INSURANCE
The recent fires at Fairport Harbor brought to attention why it’s important to have home or renters insurance. I’ve known people that didn’t have insurance including one that dropped their home insurance because money was tight. Their house caught fire a few months later and they lost everything.

It’s always good to check to make sure you’re getting the best price on your insurance. The other year we shopped our insurance around and saved $800 a year on home/car/ring insurance! Make sure you have everything covered too. Some insurance policies don’t cover things that would seem standard.

I’ve also used HMS National for insurance on our appliances/electrical/plumbing/heating/central air. If everything is old and ready to go bad it’s worth a look. I paid $415 a year for it and up to $100 for a deductible. It’s best to call anything that has even a minor issue at the same time so that you can pay just the $100 for all of it instead of $100 on each issue as they go bad altogether.

Here’s a link to HMS:
http://www.hmsnational.com

TOP TEN THINGS I LIKE TO DO IN THE MORNING
10) Tell my freeloading cats to get a job.
9) Man the check-point booth at the bottom of my street even though I’ve been told incorrectly that is really a booth for kids that wait for the bus.
8) Conduct a full-body search for anything that cropped up on my person overnight such as lesions, boils, and curious leaches.
7) While I’m drinking my piping hot cup of coffee, check to see what shenanigans the Family Circus brood is up to in the Comics.
6) Check expiration dates.
5) Write all the dreams down that I can remember and then act them out during the day. So if you have a 75 cents off coupon it will double to $1.50 off.

Tip – UPC codes on coupons that start with a 5 will double (at Giant Eagle as long as they are 99 cents and less).
