\nFree day for people over age 55 on Friday, June 24th at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The Senior Safari will include free health screenings.<\/p>\n

Wild Wednesdays<\/em>
\nCleveland Metroparks Zoo offers half-price admission on “Wild Wednesdays” this summer for residents of Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit counties. The special discount applies to residents of surrounding counties as follows:<\/p>\n

July 6: Geauga County Day
\nJuly 13: Lake County Day
\nJuly 20: Lorain County Day
\nJuly 27: Medina County Day
\nAugust 3: Portage County Day
\nAugust 10: Summit County Day <\/p>\n

On Wild Wednesdays, Zoo admission for qualifying residents is half-price all day ($5.50 for adults, $4 for kids ages 2 to 11) and includes admission to The RainForest and the new African Elephant Crossing exhibit. Out-of-county residents should bring a valid photo ID (with current address) to the Zoo Box Office on the specified day, or a current utility bill with another form of identification.<\/p>\n

On Mondays, the Zoo (not including The RainForest) is FREE for residents of Cuyahoga County and Hinckley Township.* From Memorial Day through Labor Day, if Monday is an observed holiday, free Zoo admission applies on Tuesday instead. If you qualify for free Zoo-only admission on Mondays, tickets for The RainForest may be purchased at the following rates: Adults (12 and older) are $5.00, Children (2-11) are $3.00, and Children under 2 are free. <\/p>\n

*To confirm your residency, bring your driver’s license or state I.D. or a current utility bill with your Cuyahoga Cty. or Hinckley Twp. address along with a photo ID.<\/p>\n
