\nDid you see the story about a 25-year-old Highland Heights woman was charged with stealing $29.60 in merchandise from Walmart. Loss prevention saw her place two boxes of condoms in her coat pocket and shampoo and conditioner in her purse. <\/p>\n

She purchased other items and attempted to leave the store without paying for the concealed items. Yes, the old ‘I’m buying stuff, so I’m not stealing’ trick. Works probably 23% of the time… <\/p>\n

She told police that she was too embarrassed to purchase the condoms and thought she may as well go all out and steal the hair care products as well.<\/p>\n

So her definition of going all out was to get shampoo and conditioner. Yes, why hold back on having to pay $5 for some Suave green apple shampoo or whatever she swiped when you can get arrested for pilfering it. I hope her and her fabulous hair has learned a lesson. <\/p>\n

And here I’ve bought douche, tampons, nail polish, hair color, and Gas-X, probably in one shopping trip. Am I embarrased? Not a bit. I revel in the fact that I’m getting the stuff for free so that supercedes me feeling embarrased. Plus I wear a hat so it makes me somewhat invisible just like a quiet kid in class that never gets noticed. <\/p>\n

XBOX WORKERS<\/strong>
\nApparently in China at the Foxconn factory that makes the Xbox, the workers there threatened mass suicide due to payment disputes. Foxconn is the world’s largest electronics contract manufacturer. A study found that workers have excessive and forced overtime amongst other issues.<\/p>\n

This is the same factory complex that makes many of the electronics we use and the same one that has nets up to catch workers that jump off buildings to commit suicide. Needless to say, the working conditions there must be getting atrocious. They need some labor laws like the U.S. implemented early into the 20th century when companies tried to take advantage of workers. About 20% of their workers are in unions, but it’s tied to their communist government.<\/p>\n

BAD COUPONING TIPS<\/strong>
\nCheck out this article. Is there such a thing as a bad couponer!? I think not…unless they have terrible b.o. The comment in the story about pressing the back button to have the coupon print twice in Coupons.com is bad couponing is incorrect. The reason they do that is to allow for the second print since the first oftentimes doesn’t print or prints incorrectly. Some campaigns by manufacturers only offer so many coupons but in Coupons.com they usually have two prints of the same coupon available each month for each person since it goes by IP address. <\/p>\n

They should instead do a story on how manufacturers have made it a pain to coupon since there are limits, short expiration dates, more coupons on time-consuming web-sites, less coupons in the Sunday paper, the high cost of printing ones own coupons, etc…<\/p>\n
