BLACK FRIDAY TIPS
Here are some Black Friday tips:
– Save 100% by buying nothing! Don’t buy things you don’t need.
– It’s not a deal if the item isn’t at least half off. Even some items at half off aren’t deals since you can find it for that sale price during the year…without the crowds.
– The lowest price of the season means it’s only the best deal during the couple months of the holiday and not all time or even the year.
– Buy one get one item 50% off means each item is 25% off. Not that great of a deal.
– Since electronics, toys, and appliances are selling at the lowest prices of the year, now is the time to purchase them if you need them. For the same reason, stock up on the best deals that will be used as gifts in the upcoming year.
– Look for rebates during this time of the year, especially appliances, to pair up with a sale.
– Price comparison shop the item you want to purchase on the following sites:

– Many stores have online deals with free shipping for the same items you will find in the store. There is a better chance you will find it in stock also. So instead of freezing your tush in the cold this Black Friday, shop at home online.
– Many of the best deals have a limited amount in stock. If you strike out on getting what you wanted, don’t purchase something else at a lesser discount just to make up for not getting what you wanted. Be mentally prepared to walk out with nothing!
– Items on sale for half off can be found throughout the year for most items. Just because it’s half off on Black Friday doesn’t make it a better deal!
– Check the price history to see if the item you want is truly on sale. Amazon has a service that price tracks.
– Shop at stores that are off the beaten path, away from other popular stores, or in rural areas. You may have better luck finding limited stock items there.
– If there is more than one person in your household shopping, split up where you will camp out for the deals to better the chances of getting the best deals.
– Look for the best deals in the ads before you go and plot out your shopping trip. Get a newspaper with the ad or check the ads with the best prices at some of these sites:

– Bring a vuvuleza horn with you and when playing it point it in the ear of the person in line in front of you. It may help you move up in line or scare everyone away. Hire a NFL running back to race to the best deals or a defensive lineman to help block others from getting what you want. Also, don’t drink so much coffee that you have to give up your spot in line to race to the bathroom.
