KROGER
Kroger has decides to stop doubling and tripling coupons in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and Eastern Texas starting September 14, 2011. They had already done so in the Houson market and even said they weren’t going to eliminate them in other markets.
How can you help bring back andd/or keep doubles and triples? Contact your store and contact Kroger headquarters. Michael Donnelly, Senior VP at Kroger, made the call to eliminate doubles and when he worked at Ralph’s he did the same. Let him know how you feel by contacting him and others at Kroger headquarters at (513) 762-4000.
Too many families are struggling to get by and the last thing they need is to have less ways to save money. Many can’t afford PC’s or cars to take advantage of digital coupons or gas perks either. There will be less to donate as many people won’t be able to purchase as much without double and triple coupons, hurting the poor even more.
How can you help? Let your voice also be heard at http://www.BringBackDoubles.com. It’s a site dedicated to helping consumers fight back to get doubles reinstated. It worked the last time we did it with Giant Eagle, so don’t hesitate to help the cause.

Part of the reason I didn’t go on the Extreme Couponing show when they asked me to be was because the show gave couponers a bad image. These new rules from Kroger and others that have followed since the show are evidence of it. Couponers are being hurt by a show. They care about ratings and not about the individuals on the show. Things will only get worse unless people’s voices are heard.
