I had someone e-mail that their Giant Eagle cashier told them that their internet coupon was invalid because it wasn’t printed in color. That is crazy. A coupon printed doesn’t change it’s validity if it’s in color or black and white. It shows how bad some cashiers get trained. One way to fix it is to have a current copy of the coupon policy with you. From there escalate it through management.
The printing of Internet coupons will go by the wayside if situations like this continue. It costs us consumers to print the coupons, so the coupons better be good too.
