COUPONS.COM
They are now offering coupons for a charge while still offering their free coupons. The cost is $3 a month or $30 for an annual membership. The coupons are supposed to be of higher value. If these kind of sites are going to start charging for coupons I don’t see many people signing on. People that coupon don’t want another monthly expense when there are free coupons to be had. There is a free 30 day trial so that is worth the price!

SMASHBURGER
Deal: $6 for $12 worth of burgers and American fare at Smashburger
http://tinyurl.com/42omtke

Deal available in these cities: Boise, Denver, Lexington, Shreveport, Chicago, Fort Worth, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Tulsa, Cincinnati, Houston, Reno, Colorado Springs, Kalamazoo, Sacramento, Dayton, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City.

AT&T
The government filed a lawsuit to stop the merger of AT&T and T-Mobile. Good news as the merger would’ve decreased competition and most likely increased pricing. Only Sprint and Verizon would have been left and Sprint probably would look to get purchased too. A monopoly by any of these companies would be bad for consumers.

GAS
Have you noticed how the price per a barrel of crude oil is at around $90 and a gallon of gas is around $4. Yet back a few years ago a barrel cost around $150 and the price of a gallon of gas was… around $4! Something is fishy here. Are the gas producers trying to hurt anyone that is trying to get rid of their billion-dollar subsidies by keeping the cost of a gallon of gas high? All the more reason to get rid of the subsidies that they don’t need with their record billion dollar profits.
