I found perennials for $1 (were $3.33), Fuschia hanging baskets for $5, 6 pack annuals for 50 cents, and other deals at Lowe’s in Willoughby. Check your Lowe’s for similar deals. Check for clearance plants as there is usually a good many when July 4th approaches. And just because a clearance plant is past it’s bloom doesn’t mean it’s no good if it is a perennial plant. Sure, you won’t get to enjoy a flowering plant this year, but the following year you will get to see it in bloom.
Lowes and Home Depot have a 1 year guarantee on plants too so save your receipt in case you plant croaks…not audibly, but physically.
