I saw a sign that said buy one get one free chicken sandwich (they’re on sale now at all Burger Kings for BOGO). I pulled into the drive thru. I told them I had a buy one get one free coupon for chicken sandwiches, hoping to get both for free. No can do. I sped off. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Did you ever buy a razor that didn’t raise or stimulate your hair up and away from your skin? Well, Gillette settled a lawsuit that might net ya some bucks or a razor.
The lawsuit challenges the accuracy of Gillette’s advertisements for the M3Power Razor. Plaintiffs claim Gillette’s advertisements that the M3Power Razor “raises or stimulates hair up and away from the skin” were false and misleading and violated consumer-related laws in the USA and Canada. In mid-2005, Gillette deleted those representations from its ads. Gillette denies all the allegations but has agreed to the proposed settlement to resolve this class action.
The proposed settlement offers benefits (including cash refunds, cash rebates, or a new Gillette manual men’s razor) to persons in the United States or Canada who purchased or otherwise acquired for use and not resale an M3Power Razor in the United States between May 1, 2004 and September 30, 2005, or in Canada between May 1, 2004 and October 31, 2005, and who submit valid and timely claims.

Some folks may be due some bucks for a settlement by Fifth Third on overdraft fees.
Under the proposed settlement, Fifth Third will pay $9.5 million into a fund. Customers may make a claim for total overdraft fees paid during any 45-day period between Oct. 21, 2004 and July 1, 2010. Customer may get a settlement for up to three times their claim, but that depends on the number of claims made.
